College Students Spring Break – 5 Things to Do Besides Go To The Club

College Spring Break Miami

Ah, spring break. A time for college students to let loose, party, and forget about the stress of classes and exams. And what better place to do all of that than Miami? With its warm weather, beautiful beaches, and abundance of bars and clubs, Miami is a prime destination for college students looking to have a good time on their spring break.

But let’s be real here – Miami is not just about partying. There are plenty of other things to do in the city that don’t involve getting drunk and stumbling out of a club at 4 am (although those things are definitely still on the table). Here are some ideas for things that college students can do in Miami for spring break.

  1. Visit the beaches. Sure, you could just lay out on the beach all day and work on your tan (or your hangover), but there are also plenty of other things to do. You can go for a swim, try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding, or even take a surfing lesson.
  2. Explore the Everglades. Sure, you could spend your entire spring break in Miami Beach, but where’s the fun in that? The Everglades is just a short drive from the city, and it offers a completely different experience. You can go on an airboat tour, hike through the wetlands, and spot alligators, crocodiles, and a variety of birds.
  3. Visit the Miami Seaquarium. Listen, we get it – you’re a cool college student and you don’t want to do anything too touristy. But hear us out on this one: the Miami Seaquarium is actually pretty cool. You can see dolphins, seals, and sharks, and there are also a number of shows and exhibits. Plus, it’s a great place to take a break from the crowds and the heat.
  4. Take a boat tour. Miami is surrounded by water, so why not get out on the water and see the city from a different perspective? You can choose from sightseeing tours, fishing charters, or even party boats. Just make sure you don’t get seasick and have to spend the rest of the day hanging over the side of the boat.
  5. Visit the Miami Children’s Museum. Okay, okay, we know what you’re thinking – the Miami Children’s Museum? Really? But hear us out. The museum has a number of interactive exhibits and activities that are actually pretty fun, even for college students. Plus, it’s a great place to take a break from the crowds and the heat.
